SVEC members honor Pastor Bill Wolfe as March "Who Powers You?" winner

Pastor Bill Wolfe of Pikeville was selected from the nominations received from SVEC members as the March recipient of the SVEC Who Powers You Contest.

 

Bill Wolfe —The Facts:

 • 22 years as a pastor - last 15 at Lee Station Baptist Church, Pikeville. Also works full-time at Citizens Tri-County Bank in Dunlap.

  • Gave leadership to establishing and running a food bank at the church 13 years ago and to expanding to House of Hope three years ago when the home at 110 Wheeler St., Pikeville, was donated to the church for their outreach ministry.

 • Lee Station House of Hope provides assistance to 2,000 -3,000 people per month, covering an 8 county area.

 • About 6 volunteers per day work 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday and beyond during times of emergency to provide, food, clothing and other essentials for those in need. About 70 total volunteers.
