TVA In-Home Energy Evaluation

In-Home Energy Evaluation Program
Want to save energy but don't know where to start? With the In-Home Energy Evaluation Program, you can reduce your power usage and receive a cash rebate for installing home energy improvements. Before you begin any work to your home, contact us and we will guide you through this program. A few facts about the program:
- Contact SVEC first and arrange for an in-home energy evaluation by a TVA-certified evaluator
- The evaluation cost is $150, paid before the inspector can come out.
- The inspector will provide a list of recommended improvements to make, which the homeowner may choose to complete any or all of these suggestions.
- The selected improvements must be made within 90 days of the evaluation
- Some common improvements include replacing windows, adding storm windows, replacing/sealing duct work, replace HVAC, air sealing and attic insulation*
- After improvements are made, the work will be inspected to be sure everything is installed properly to maximize your savings.
- You may be eligible to receive up to $500 in rebates for the improvements you make.*
*Incentives vary and requirements must be met. See the FAQ list for more information.
