Even More Photos from 2007 Washington Youth Tour

The group enjoyed the stop at the Lincoln Memorial during the guided tour of the city's many memorials and monuments. The trip wasn't all about historical sites. The Potomac Nationals baseball game was a lot of fun! Jonathan Caretto enjoyed meeting "Uncle Slam."

“This trip meant a lot to me. At first I was nervous because I didn't know the other students that were going and I didn't know if I would like them or even make friends. I got there and I made friends from other co-ops the very first night. “I enjoyed seeing the sites of DC. Everyday was exhausting but it also was a wonderful experience. It brought value to what this country goes through. “I met so many people from other states and had a good time. By the end of the trip I felt like I had known them my whole life. 'I will never forget this trip.'

“I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to experience the Washington Youth Tour. I had the time of my life and I will never forget anything. The trip taught me about my country, how to meet people, and make friends. I made many wonderful friends and memories that I will keep for the rest of my life. I would like to thank the co-op and everybody that made it possible for me to attend this trip. This trip truly changed my life.”

Seeing the White House up Close was exciting.

This has been one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. Not only did I get the opportunity to do things I would not have been able to do without the SVEC and TECA, I also got to make a good deal of friends that I probably would not have met without going on the Washington Youth Tour.

"The Youth Tour gave me a chance to explore Washington, D.C. and make new friends as well. I had a great time."
