On-Line Payment/e-Billing
Pay your electric bill in the comfort of your own home with SVEC's new online billing service

If you are one of the many people who would rather pay bills sitting comfortably at your home computer, anytime of the day or night, do we have news for you!
You now have new choices in how you receive and pay your SVEC bill.

You may now visit our web site and view your latest bill even if you have not received it in the mail. If you choose to do so, you may pay it by credit card or with an "e-check" using your debit card.

To access your account, click on the “view your account” icon, to your left. You will then be asked for your account number which is on your latest bill. Next, you will be asked for a password. This will also be on your latest SVEC bill. At that point you may change your password to one that you choose. Your password will continue to appear on your bill until you change it.

Your second new choice is whether to receive your bill in the mail or by e-mail or both. To make a change simply call or e-mail your local office and request to be placed on our “e-billing” list. You will receive your bill by e-mail the morning after it is sent to our billing service. You may pay it then by credit card or any of our other convenient payment methods..

Budget Billing Plan
Wouldn’t it be nice to know in advance how much to budget for your electric bill each month?
The Budget Billing Plan gives you the luxury of allowing you to pay equal monthly electric bills based on your previous 12-month average power use. The averaging of your monthly bills eliminates higher bills in the summer and winter when heating and cooling units are in use.
Bank Draft Plan/Repetitive Credit Card Plans
If you work out of town or pay bills once a month, you probably have had an electric bill due date slip by and you had to pay a late charge.
Our Bank Draft or Repetitive Credit Card Plan will help solve that problem for you by paying your electric bill directly from your checking account or charging the bill to your designated credit card on or after the net due date. Your money stays with you in your checking account as long as possible without the chance of forgetting to pay and having to suffer a late payment fee. You save time, postage and more by not having to pay your electric bill personally.
Deferred Payment Plan
Are you on a fixed income?
If this is your situation you may be eligible for SVEC’s Deferred Payment Plan.

Eligibility:

  • Member’s bill must be due after the 20th of the month
  • Gross annual income must be less than $10,000

If approved:

  • Your electric bill will be due on or before the 5th day of each month
  • All bills must be paid in full each month
