Randall Vinson

A native of South Pittsburg, Dr. Vinson is a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and except for the time he spent in school at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro and at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, has always lived here. 

Vinson graduated from optometry school in 1980 and began his practice here. Since then he has been involved in several community organizations having served as a past president of the South Pittsburg Rotary Club and for eight years as a member of the South Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Vinson and his wife Rosa have two sons Stuart and Mark. Both are outstanding athletes. Stuart plays baseball for Baylor and Mark has a Black Belt in Karate. 
An avid NASCAR racing fan, Vinson worked for Union 76 Oil at the Talledaga, Atlanta, Bristol and Texas Motor Speedways from 1994 until 2000.
